Adriana Fonseca

    Adriana Fonseca Castellanos, Spanish pronunciation: Adriana Fonseca Castellanos March 16, 1979), is an Mexican actress from Mexico. Her telenovela roles on Televisa's television include La usurpadora (1998), Rosalinda (1999), Caridad "Chachi") Montenegro (1999), Mariana de la Noche (2005), Contra viento and maria (2007), Montserrat Linares (2007), and Bajo las riendas of the amor (2007). She was born in Veracruz in Veracruz on the 16th of March 1979. The actress is the daughter of of dentists Hugo Fonseca, Guillermina Castellanos. A sister Hugo is her brother, and Jacqueline is her sibling. Her acting career started through a television show of a smaller size. At the age of 16, she was accepted into the C.E.A. (Centro de Education Artistica) in Mexico. She was recognized with the El rostro de El Heraldo de Mexico award in 1997. In 1997, she appeared in the show La usurpadora. Fonseca was the character Rosalinda's younger sister, Lucy, in the soap show Rosalinda. Fonseca played the lead role in Amigos Por Siempre, alongside Ernesto LaGuardia. The soap opera was paired with a stage performance Mama no quita los vios , which featured famous actors like Angelica Maria and Hulio Aleman. Fonseca was initially famous for her character as Rosalinda's sister in soaps such as Preciosa as well as Gotita de amor. Fonseca was later seen alongside Rene Strickler on a ten-episode soap opera called Mujer Bonita. She was awarded the Rostro del Ano award at the 1998 Premios Lo Nuestro 2.
