Abigale Le Miller bio

Abigale Lee Miller(born on 21st September 1965) is an American dance instructor, choreographer, and reality television personality. Abby Lee Dance Company is her idea, and it was a reality show that aired for eight seasons on Dance Moms. On June 27, 2016, Miller pleaded guilty to criminal bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison and released on the 27th of March, 2018. The diagnosis of lymphoma was made in April of this year. It's a form of cancer that leaves her incapable of walking. In order to move about she uses a wheelchair. Miller grew up around dance in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, which is a Pittsburgh suburb. She attended classes under the guidance of her mother at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller was 14 years old when she was asked to choreograph and the role of coach on one of her mother's dancing teams in competition. Miller eventually took over the dance studio and renamed it Reign Dance Productions. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America and became a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986 but her membership was cut off in February 2012 and the DMA saying Miller's reality-TV show Dance Moms was "a total misrepresentation of our dance teachers and their students . It's damaging to the dance industry."
