Annie Wersching Bio

  Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and for the voice work that she provided for Tess in Naughty Dog’s video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. She was a competitor in Irish dance throughout her childhood and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career with a guest appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to appearing as a guest on shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She also appeared on Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007 she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Also, she has performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. Also, she was a regular in the series of Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was announced that Wersching played the voice actor and mocap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer, which was shown on the 7th of December in 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek: Picard's second season , which begins in September 2021.
