Drew Blythe Barrymore was born February 22 1975. Numerous honors have been given to her including the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, and the BAFTA nomination. She is a member of the Barrymore family of actors and is the grandchild of John Barrymore. Barrymore became a popular child actress because of her character in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood plagued by drugs and alcohol abuse, she released an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 90s, she starred in several films, like PoisonIvy, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was in a variety of films with Adam Sandler, including The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates, and Blended. Barrymore was a young actress who gained fame for her part in E.T.
